When one door closes, another opens. After more than thirty years of dedication, challenges, clients, conferences and countless successes, it is with great pride and only a touch of sadness that effective December 31, 2025, Synergy Cubed closed its doors.
But while Synergy Cubed is stepping down, Cosmo is leaping with full force and conviction into the next, and perhaps most important chapter of his life’s work. It is with joy, excitement and even greater pride to announce the launch of Parks & Rec Rx Group, a multi-faceted company dedicated to bringing medically directed programming to the fitness community.
Their mission is simple long overdue. We do not have a healthcare system. We have a sick care system; reactive, not proactive, and grossly inefficient. And the fitness community can only help those who choose to participate. The sad reality is that almost 80% of the adult population are not involved with a health club, fitness center, personal trainer or any structured exercise program. Even sadder is that more than 65% of the adult population either have and need to manage, or wish to proactively avoid getting, Hypertension, Diabetes or Obesity.
That massive, untapped market is Parks & Rec Rx Group’s target audience. Parks & Rex Rx Connect, the 501(c)(3) non-profit division, is dedicated to bringing medically directed programming that specifically addresses those three conditions to the Parks & Rec, Community Center and YMCA communities. FitRx Solutions, the fee-based division, will bring the same medically directed programs and population health benefits to the Commercial Fitness and Health Club market.
We are always looking for facilities interested in participating in helping us create a healthier America, and we still have many Corporate Sponsorship opportunities available. The challenges are many, but the opportunity is great, the time is now, and the potential benefits are almost incalculable.
